The Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas
The Cathedral Church has been on the site for nine hundred years but only became a cathedral when the Diocese of Newcastle was formed in 1882.
The church normally holds three or four services a day starting early in the morning and finishing in the early evening.

Cathedral Church of St. Mary
The church is open daily for visitors except for Bank Holidays where it is only open for prayer.
Sunday:
8.00am – Low Mass
10.00am – Sung Mass with Cantor (Children’s Liturgy 1st Sunday of month)
11.30am – Solemn Mass with Cathedral Choir
6.30pm – Sung Mass with the Music Group

Monday to Friday: 8.00am and 12.05pm

City Church Newcastle
Sunday services start at 10.30am and normally last till after 12 noon, rather than being a simple service there are many different facets to the services at City Church.

St. Andrews Church
The Church caters to three types of religious events; there is the Holy Communion which is held every Sunday (except the second of the month) at 11:30am and on Thursdays at 12:30pm. The church also holds a Greek Orthodox service on the second Sunday of the month at 11:30am.
The church also holds a signed service for deaf people on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 3.00pm in the afternoon.
