Going Green and Tidying Up our Act? Recycle Centres around Newcastle and Tyneside

recycling-regiment-1-by-peter-kaminskiNewcastle prides itself on its green credentials and this is shown through its recycling activities and how it tries to engage its citizens to recycle more.

With the environment being an important issue in today’s world, the city of Newcastle upon Tyne is making important strides in green living to ensure the city is doing its part on the local, regional and world stage.

Newcastle upon Tyne has three large recycling centres that are an integral part of the waste disposal process in the city.

Newcastle has also been working hard to ensure its citizens try to recycle where ever possible and this is evident through the amount of recycling they achieve on a monthly basis.

The Brunswick Centre is found just north of Newcastle upon Tyne on the outskirts of Brunswick village off the A1.
