Canoeing For Beginners
By Mike Yeaman
Any similarity to persons living or pretending to be dead is purely coincidental.
From the writer of smash hit comedy ‘Lucky Numbers’ comes the world premiere of this brand new comedy.
Things haven’t gone well for Beryl and Frank but they’ve hatched a plan for a stress-free retirement in the sun.
It’s dead simple – it just involves Frank’s canoebeing washed up on the beach and a dodgy insurance claim…
It’s a relief when Frank finally gets out of the country and Beryl manages to join him in a tourist hotel in Havana: now they can relax and plan their new life!
As this farce reaches a frenetic pace, the play takes a surreal twist that plays on the nature of reality and deception.
