<p><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><strong>Celebrate Chinese New Year in Newcastle | 14th February 2010</strong></span><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Newcastle&#8217;s Chinatown sees in the Chinese New Year, Year of the Tiger start with an explosion of celebrations on February 14th 2010.</span><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Visit the Chinatown area of Newcastle (Stowell Street, Charlotte Square, Bath Lane and Waterloo Street) to join in the free celebrations including traditional parades, dancing and firecrackers.</span><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><br style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial" /><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">The Newcastle Chinese New Year Celebrations start at 11am through until 4pm, with performances and the Dragon, Unicorn and Lion Parade in Bath Lane from midday along with a Chinese Arts and Crafts Market.
